Job summary

Anthropic seeks an experienced Endpoint Platform Engineer to own the MDM platform end-to-end, including infrastructure, configuration, patching, and telemetry. You will collaborate with Security and developer teams to enforce controls while keeping operations efficient.

The role emphasizes designing zero-touch provisioning, production readiness, and an autonomous, scripted approach to managing thousands of devices across macOS and Linux.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building secure IT systems in complex environments.
• Experience managing endpoint fleets of macOS devices with modern MDM.
• Configuration as code is version controlled and peer reviewed.
• Knowledge of macOS internals (launchd, TCC, system extensions).

Responsibilities

• Own endpoint configuration as code and roll out MDM policies across macOS and mobile.
• Operate the MDM platform as a production service with IaC, observability, upgrades and incident response.
• Build patch management automation with fast enforcement and good UX.
• Design zero touch provisioning for day-one productivity.
• Collaborate with Security on hardening and compliance controls.
• Turn fleet telemetry into policy and dashboards; use automation to reduce manual work.
