Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Global Category Manager to own the EMS/PCBA category within the Analytical business line.

This senior individual contributor will consolidate global strategy with factories and teams across local, regional, and global scales to build a resilient, cost-optimized supply chain. You will lead sourcing strategies, negotiate with key suppliers, manage contracts and savings programs, and ensure category targets are met with a data-driven, collaborative approach that fits ABB's

Qualifications

Proven experience in strategic sourcing and category management.
Experience turning global strategies into actionable plans.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Ability to align factories, regional and global teams around a common direction.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the global EMS/PCBA strategy for the Analytical business line.
Lead sourcing strategies using the CIPS process to ensure capability and capacity.
Negotiate supplier agreements, renew price lists, and manage terms.
Manage procurement planning, budgets, savings forecasts, and cost-out programs.
Identify and qualify suppliers based on quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.
Provide contract management and supplier oversight.
Drive category sourcing performance targets across stakeholders.
