Job summary

ABB is seeking a Global Category Manager for the Analytical Business Line to own the mechanical category, including components, castings, forgings, and plastics, across a global supply base. You’ll consolidate strategy with factories, regional and global teams to build a resilient, cost-optimized supply chain.

You will lead sourcing using the CIPS process, negotiate with key suppliers, and manage procurement planning, budgets, and savings programs to hit financial targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing and category management.
• Experience with mechanical components, castings, forgings, or plastics.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the global strategy for the mechanical category.
• Lead sourcing strategies using the CIPS process.
