SMBC Americas is seeking an Employee Relations Investigator to support the organization and its employees with fairness, consistency, and discretion. You will manage a portfolio of workplace investigations and collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and HR partners to deliver timely resolutions.

The role requires 5–8 years in investigations or employment law, a Bachelor's degree (JD a plus), and the ability to work in a global, matrixed environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required; JD is a significant plus.
• 5–8 years of investigations, employee relations, and/or employment law experience.
• Excellent strategic, investigative, writing, analytical, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex, matrixed financial services environment.

Mansioni

• Conducts and facilitates complex, sensitive investigations with documentation and defensible findings.
• Manages a dynamic caseload with competing priorities and timely resolutions.
• Provides objective recommendations and remedial actions based on findings.
• Collaborates with Legal, Compliance, IT Security, Risk, and HR partners across the Americas.
• Contributes to policy updates, training, and tooling related to employee relations.
• Analyzes data to identify trends and preventative actions.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
