Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Associate Investigator to support the US locations within Worldwide Operations HR. You will investigate sensitive HR and employee-relations issues, interview stakeholders, analyze data, and produce documentation while collaborating with partners, Legal, and third-party vendors.

You will manage casework to closure, address crisis-oriented issues, and contribute to continuous improvements of people programs to foster a positive WW Ops environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of human resources experience.
• Experience with HR processes and systems.
• Experience with process improvement.
• Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

• Investigate highly sensitive HR and Employee Relations issues, including: interviewing complainants, witnesses and subjects; analyzing data from internal systems; case adjudication; proposing remedial action; production of investigation documentation.
• Independently manage assigned casework, bringing investigations to closure rapidly and definitively.
• Consult and collaborate with business partners, Corporate ER teams, Legal teams, and 3rd Party Vendors on complex employee investigations.
• Handle crisis-oriented employee relations issues with limited time, balancing time between projects and crisis-response.
• Partner to engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner in analysis and revision of people programs, policies, and practices to sustain a positive work environment for WW Ops employees.
