Job summary

Lucid Motors in Newark, CA is seeking a Global Supply Manager for Electronic Systems, Electrical Components, Infotainment and NPI. You will manage supplier relationships, collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Quality and Manufacturing, and help define our global supply chain strategy to deliver world-class products on time and cost effectively.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field and 2–4 years in Purchasing or Supply Chain with electronics;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 2-4 years’ experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering with electronic components.
• Understanding of electronics components such as resistors, capacitors, microprocessors, transistors and diodes.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with teamwork.
• Proficient in Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word and ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
• Experience with product launches and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering and Supplier Quality to identify qualified suppliers.
• Create RFQs, analyze quotations, and balance cost, quality, lead-time and technical factors.
• Negotiate contracts including parts pricing, tooling costs and Engineering Services (NRE/EDT).
• Release parts into production and issue POs for prototypes and tooling.
• Manage supplier development and tooling timelines and resolve delays.
• Maintain supplier relationships and report sourcing status and costs.
• Travel 15-25% to visit suppliers and perform program reviews.
