Job summary

Base Power is seeking a Global Supply Manager to own and optimize relationships with contract manufacturers, driving total delivered cost and ramp readiness for high-volume battery assemblies. You will lead should-cost modeling, negotiate NRE terms, and manage multi-CM networks to scale from 1 GW to 3 GW.

You will work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and executives to secure cost, capacity, and supply continuity while balancing project momentum and strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Background sourcing and managing top-level assemblies through contract manufacturers, fluent in labor cost structures, value-add negotiation, and total delivered cost roll-up across a multi-commodity BOM
• Experience negotiating NRE terms, ECO cost recovery, and configuration change cost
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills for should-cost analysis
• Comfortable leading RFx, multi-source qualification, and ramp-readiness of supplier networks

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial relationship with contract manufacturers and master services agreements
• Build and own the should-cost model for each assembly and roll up total delivered cost
• Lead RFx from scoping through award for CM qualification and renegotiation
• Negotiate ECO cost recovery, tooling amortization, and NRE terms
• Manage supplier readiness through ramp and capacity planning
• Partner with Manufacturing to decide in-house vs CM production
• Provide recommendations on CM awards, cost reviews, and supply continuity
