Job summary

ALSO, an electric mobility company, seeks a Senior Staff Global Supply Manager, EE Components to own electronics and silicon supply from concept to mass production. You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and NPI, leading with manufacturers to build a robust supply base and negotiate terms that secure critical parts.

You will drive cost optimization, manage end-to-end supplier lifecycle, and balance cost, performance, and resilience while traveling up to 25% internationally.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in global sourcing or commodity management, with semiconductors or complex EE components, plus NPI experience.
• Track record landing long-term agreements with global manufacturers.
• Comfortable operating as SME with autonomy and travel domestically and internationally ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute the global sourcing strategy for EE components and semiconductors across current and next-gen roadmaps.
• Own a semiconductor technology roadmap aligned with supplier and industry trends.
• Manage the Approved Vendor List end-to-end from source-qualification to performance evaluation.
• Negotiate long-term agreements and quality terms to secure high-priority parts.
• Lead BOM scrubs to mitigate end-of-life risk, single-source exposure, and bottlenecks.
• Own should-cost modeling to reduce total cost of ownership.
• Spot supply chain vulnerabilities and implement hedging and continuity plans.
• Track market pricing, lead times, capacity, and tech advances to inform sourcing.
• Stand up supplier performance metrics and conduct regular business reviews.
