Job summary

Vertiv in Westerville, Ohio is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager - Electrical to lead a global team of electrical engineers responsible for design, development and lifecycle management of high-density liquid cooling systems for data centers. You will drive design validation, manufacturing support, and regulatory compliance while fostering cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role.
Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering or related fields.
Fluency in English (read, write, speak).

Responsibilities

Lead a global multidisciplinary electrical engineering team.
Provide day-to-day technical and operational leadership across product development and manufacturing support.
Drive design validation, testing, and configuration control processes.
Partner with operations and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
Oversee NPI, product transfers, and change management with global manufacturing alignment.
Review and approve engineering designs, documentation, and deviations.
Develop and maintain robust engineering documentation including BOMs and process flows.
Drive continuous improvement using lean principles.
Lead capital planning and equipment strategy including justification and implementation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, supply chain, and leadership teams.
Monitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
