Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and release electrical parts for High Density Liquid Cooling units. You will work in a cross-functional development group to solve complex problems where no precedence exists, and you will base design decisions on applicable codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college/university.
• 5–10 years of electrical engineering experience in product development.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software, CREO 4.0+.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for Liquid Cooling Systems including CDUs.
• Size and select electrical components per requirements.
• Create wiring schematics and network drawings.
• Create electric panel layouts and wire harnesses.
• Create drawings and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and design improvements.
• Support service with product changes and field issues.
