Job summary
Electrical Components International is seeking an Electrical & Electro-Mechanical Sourcing Manager to develop global sourcing strategies for industrial electrical and electro-mechanical product categories. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, supply chain, or business
- 8+ years strategic sourcing/category management experience in industrial technology or manufacturing
- Experience with industrial electrical connectivity, circuit protection, power distribution, control and automation components
- Demonstrated expertise in global sourcing, supplier negotiations, supplier development and category strategy
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Develop global category strategies for electrical and electro-mechanical product lines
- Lead RFQs/RFPs and supplier selection processes
- Drive market intelligence, cost reduction and supplier performance improvements
- Manage supplier relationships and scorecards; lead business reviews
- Support NPI and engineering programs; identify cost-saving opportunities
- Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation across the supply base
