Job summary

V2X, Inc. seeks a seasoned Environmental Health and Safety professional to lead the EHS program across our Maryland site. You will ensure regulatory compliance, develop safety policies, and coordinate inspections with OSHA, Navy base officials, and internal teams.

The role requires collaboration with site leadership to foster a safe, compliant, and proactive safety culture. Travel may be required based on program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combined with safety professional experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and Navy safety standards.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer the Environmental Health and Safety Program per federal, state, and station directives and laws.
• Coordinate safety policies to ensure regulatory compliance and effective safety programs.
• Liaise with Base Safety, Fire Department, OSHA, and other government agencies on safety matters.
• Represent the company during inspections and audits, including EH&S and OSHA inspections.
• Develop new or modify safety equipment with subject matter experts to support employees.
• Conduct site surveys and facility inspections to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Maintain records and reports for safety programs and inspections.
• Coordinate PPE usage and ensure adequate PPE supplies.
