Job summary

Arvato is seeking an Environment Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to drive safety excellence across our US operations. You will ensure compliance with US and international regulations, foster a positive safety culture, and collaborate with internal teams and external clients to maintain safe, reliable services.

You will lead RAMS, risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety training while developing procedures and permit-to-work systems.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar EHS role.
• Proven RAMS preparation and incident investigation experience.
• Willingness to travel across the US.
• Solid knowledge of US H&S regulations and industry best practices.
• Proficient in MS Office and SharePoint.
• Experience liaising with customers during project mobilization and delivery.
• ISO 45001:2018 or equivalent quality management approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct RAMS, site inspections, and safety audits to identify hazards and implement controls.
• Lead incident investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop and update H&S procedures, method statements, and permit-to-work systems.
• Ensure compliance with US and international H&S regulations and internal policies.
• Deliver safety training, safety talks, and inductions for employees and contractors.
• Lead site safety meetings, audits, and reviews with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Maintain safety records, incident reports, training logs, and compliance documents.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to obtain and maintain permits and licenses.
• Collaborate with technical services, vendors, customers, and site teams on safe systems of work.
• Promote a positive safety culture and clear communication with customers on H&S matters.
