Job summary

MSD Malaysia offers the Future Talent Program internship in its Global Safety & Environment team. The internship lasts 10–12 weeks and includes projects to develop EHS compliance and provide technical support to local site partners at the West Point site.

Candidates pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology or another technical field, with at least two years of college coursework, are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology or another technical program.
• Completed at least 2 years of college coursework.
• Ability to work full time for 10–12 weeks.
• Critical thinking, communication, problem-solving and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance and technical support to local site business partners.
• Support site EHS team at West Point on compliance programs (General Occupational Safety, High-Risk Work, Industrial Hygiene, Air/Water/Waste).
• Assist in identifying process inefficiencies and propose improvements.
