Merck & Co., Inc. in the United States is offering a Global Safety & Environment Intern position as part of the Future Talent Program.

The intern will provide EHS compliance and technical support to local site partners, covering General Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Biosafety, and Air/Water/Waste Environmental programs. This 10–12 week internship offers exposure to real projects, development opportunities, and a chance to assess fit for long-term careers at Merck.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a technical degree with focus on safety or environmental topics.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities are required.
• Willingness to learn and apply EHS concepts on site.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance and technical support to local site partners.
• Assist with General Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Biosafety, and Air/Water/Waste programs.
• Support projects and processes to improve safety and environmental performance.
