Job summary

Abbott is a global healthcare leader delivering life-changing technologies across diagnostics, medical devices, nutritionals and branded medicines. The EHS Director will own environmental, health and safety performance for the division and lead a world-wide team to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

You will partner with operations and corporate EHS to implement Abbott's policies globally, interface with regulators, and develop a scalable EHS strategy that reduces risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; 12+ years in EHS roles.
• Extensive plant-level EHS experience and regulatory knowledge.
• Proven leadership of senior professionals across divisions.

Responsibilities

• Own EHS performance for the division and manage global EHS staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across division operations worldwide.
• Partner with corporate regional support to deliver consistent EHS service.
• Lead global EHS vision and strategy and governance.
• Develop tools to apply Abbott's EHS policies company-wide.
• Engage with regulators and trade bodies on regulatory directions.
