Job summary

JLL in Austin, TX seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety Director to lead a team of HSSE professionals, drive EHS culture, ensure regulatory compliance across all facilities, and partner with leadership to advance training programs.

The role emphasizes investigations, OSHA recordkeeping, and collaboration with other EHS managers, with on-site work required at multiple facilities and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of EHS experience and education.
• Minimum 8 years of experience managing an EHS program.
• Supervisory experience with coaching, mentoring and training staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of current EHS legislation and regulations.
• Practical Health and Safety tools and techniques in facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee JLL's EHS culture and training programs on the account.
• Provide technical leadership on regulatory compliance across facilities.
• Manage EHS oversight and monthly trend indicators for leadership.
• Support rollout of compliance and best practices programs.
• Oversee OSHA recordkeeping (301/300) and JLL AIMS system administration.
• Lead or support investigations of serious safety events and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with EHS managers across accounts to share best practices.
