Job summary

Search Solution Group is seeking a Director of Environmental Health & Safety for a client specializing in industrial cutting technologies. This leadership role will develop and execute a global EH&S strategy, fostering a strong culture of safety across multiple manufacturing sites and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety or related field is required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive EH&S leadership experience.
• Experience in multi-site manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience with Safety Management Systems implementation.
• Experience leading culture change and safety improvement initiatives.
• Experience with regulatory agencies and multi-location compliance.
• Preferred: 15+ years in global manufacturing EH&S leadership.
• Preferred: ergonomic injury prevention programs.
• Preferred: OSHA VPP Star certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global EH&S strategy aligned with safety vision.
• Lead and mentor EH&S managers across global operations.
• Promote a culture of safety through leadership and engagement.
• Develop and optimize Safety Management Systems across facilities.
• Analyze safety data and drive corrective actions and investments.
• Lead the Global Safety Council and Safety Champion network.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and global regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EH&S programs.
• Interface with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
• Oversee safety training programs and employee awareness initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement of safety processes and policies.
• Support ergonomic injury prevention initiatives.
