Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Global Category Manager for EE Components, PCBs, and related assemblies. You will lead supplier management across the supply chain, define sourcing strategies, and negotiate critical contracts to support new product introductions and long-term commodity plans.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and legal teams to ensure cost reductions, supplier capability, and on-time delivery while supporting Amazon Leo initiatives in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 3+ years direct experience in component lifecycle management and LT/BOL
• 3+ years experience in supplier evaluation/selection, should-cost models, and negotiating terms
• Experience managing large value, multi-year contracts for complex engineered products
• Experience in Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, and/or Consumer Electronics industries
• Technical EE acumen and ability to connect cost, manufacturing cycle time and yields to business decisions

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships including performance, capacity planning, contracting, risk mitigation, and cost/quality improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and program teams on new product introduction and defining product requirements.
• Develop forecasting and capacity communication mechanisms for sustaining and new products.
• Negotiate and manage agreements including term sheets, MOUs, NDAs, SOWs, and development agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance, financial health, quality, on-time delivery, and cost.
• Travel to supplier sites as needed (approximately 15%).
