Job summary

Chemelex seeks an Electronics Category Supply Lead to drive global sourcing for electronic assemblies and components, and manage EMS partners across North America, Europe, and Asia. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, or related.
• 5–10 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement in electronics.
• Experience managing global EMS providers.
• Knowledge of electronic components, PCB assemblies, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally (≈20–30%).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global sourcing strategy for electronics components and EMS partners.
• Manage supplier performance, capacity planning, negotiations, and continuity planning.
• Develop strategies for components, PCB assemblies, and electronic manufacturing processes.
• Lead lifecycle management and obsolescence mitigation for electronic components.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management on NPI and DfSC initiatives.
• Lead supplier development, audits, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and reduce total cost of ownership while ensuring supply continuity.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align sourcing with product strategy.
