Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Head of Global Education GTM to lead education partnerships and sales, shape GTM strategy, and scale the team for its next growth phase. You will set priorities across markets and customer segments, lead regional teams, and stay close to senior customer relationships.

This strategic, hands-on role blends partnerships, product, and adoption to move customers from experimentation to sustained, responsible use of frontier AI.

Qualifications

• Track record of leading and developing sales teams.
• Strong strategic judgment with ability to translate vision into execution.
• Experience leading complex enterprise technology sales or partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a global education GTM strategy across higher education, country-level partnerships, and K-12 teachers.
• Lead Account Directors and regional management, building hiring plans and management capacity.
• Stay hands-on with major opportunities, guiding executive alignment, governance, procurement and deployment.
• Develop trusted relationships with institutional leaders, education systems, and partners.
• Build repeatable sales and partnership approaches to expand seats and sustain adoption.
