Job summary

The University of Michigan Flint seeks a Global and Experiential Learning Program Manager (Hybrid) to lead education abroad programs, advise students, and coordinate with faculty and international partners. Reporting to the Director of the Center for Global Engagement, you will help advance the university's internationalization strategy.

Responsibilities include managing operations of education abroad offerings, designing programs, risk management, scholarships, budgeting, and using Terra Dotta.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of professional experience in education abroad or international education.
• Knowledge of education abroad standards and student-support principles.
• Experience designing and facilitating pre-departure orientations or workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, coordination, and administration of education abroad programs.
• Advise students on program selection, applications, funding, and planning.
• Manage risk and compliance with university policy and travel standards.
• Oversee scholarship programs and outreach for broader participation.
• Maintain the Education Abroad website and coordinate events and outreach.
• Administer budgets and Terra Dotta/M Compass records.
