Job summary

EMD Serono, Inc. seeks a senior leader to manage global drug development programs from discovery through lifecycle. You will drive governance, collaborate across functions, and own the integrated plan, including budget and timelines.

This role requires extensive experience in pharmaceutical program management and strategic decision making. The position emphasizes leadership, risk management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful development and lifecycle management of therapies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field with 10-15+ years in drug development, including 6+ years in program management.
• Advanced degree (MBA, Masters or PhD) with 7-10+ years in drug development, including 4+ years in program management.
• Strong understanding of drug development process and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Lead global drug development program teams (early or late stage) per RDG governance.
• Oversee cross-functional program management activities from Exploratory Development to market launch and lifecycle.
• Collaborate with GPH to drive the Integrated Evidence Plan.
• Own the integrated program plan, including budget, timelines, and scenario planning.
