Job summary

Wing is hiring a Senior Director of Global Operations to architect and scale our drone delivery operation. Based in Palo Alto, CA or remote (US), you will lead the strategy and execution for a multi-market, multi-site delivery network with hybrid workforce models and advanced AI tools.

You will oversee rapid deployment, partner collaboration, and rigorous cost controls while driving safety and regulatory compliance across regions.

Qualifications

25+ years of progressive operational leadership experience.
Strong commercial orientation with P&L, unit economics, and labor scheduling understanding.
Proven track record scaling distributed field operations with contractors/vendors and FTEs.
Experience integrating AI tools or automation into daily operations.
Balancing safety/compliance with aggressive growth timelines.
Ability to partner across tech, product, regulatory, and enterprise partnerships.

Responsibilities

Build and lead Wing’s launch engine for new markets across the US and globe, ensuring existing markets hit OKRs and aviation protocols.
Collaborate with Partnerships, Real Estate, BizOps, and Regulatory teams to deploy drone sites and co-located retail sites.
Rigorously monitor site-level economics and optimize labor, cost-per-delivery and operational uptime.
Scale a multi-site operations workforce including contractors and FTEs with a data-driven culture.
Champion AI-driven scheduling to optimize labor, fleet maintenance, and site diagnostics.
Maintain compliance with FAA Part 135/107, CASA, and EHS across locations.
