Qcells USA Corp. is seeking a Logistics Transportation Specialist to oversee drayage and inbound shipping for raw materials sourced from Asia to the Cartersville, GA facility.

You will supervise NVOCC and container transport, track in-transit inventory, and implement improvements in the inbound process. You will coordinate with forwarders and trucking vendors, bid for favorable rates, and monitor costs such as demurrage or detention while ensuring on-time delivery and compliance across global

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, SCM, Business Management or related field.
• 3+ years of logistics and transportation experience with strong knowledge of customs.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Aufgaben

• Manage drayage transportation and inbound shipping operations.
• Supervise raw material shipments from overseas to the Cartersville plant.
• Coordinate with international forwarders and carriers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Create and present transportation reports to supervisors weekly and monthly.
• Source trucking and bid for cost reduction while monitoring demurrage/detention.
• Operate routing and KPI tracking for domestic and international shipments.
• Monitor inventory in transit and manage vessel space for shipments.
• Communicate with stakeholders and support cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with logistics and customs requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements in inbound shipping.
