Qualifications

• Experience in logistics coordination with US port drayage and ocean import operations.
• Desirable experience with perishable goods or food manufacturing.
• Experience with domestic transportation terms, documentation, claims, load planning, and shipment tender.
• Experience with INCOTERMS, ISF filing, Commercial Invoices, customs clearance, and HTS classifications.

Responsibilities

• Port Drayage & Container Management: track vessel schedules and containers at US ports.
• Drayage Coordination: schedule carriers to pull containers to regional warehouses.
• Cost Control: minimize demurrage, detention, and per diem fees.
• Inland Logistics & Freight Routing: obtain rates, transit times, and track shipments.
• Cold Chain Integrity: ensure temperature-controlled requirements are met.
• Data Integrity & Compliance: input milestones and costs into ERP in real time.
• Documentation Review: verify OBLS and delivery receipts for accuracy.
• Invoice Auditing: audit carrier freight invoices against rate sheets.
