Expeditors International is seeking a Distribution Operations professional to support the Distribution Manager in the branch, focusing on Operations, Finances, Sales, People, Systems, and Culture to uphold policy and procedures.

You will process customer orders, generate reports, manage inventory, coordinate shipping, handle billing and vendor communications, and strive for compliance and KPI achievement while maintaining strong customer relations.

Formación

• High School Diploma.

Responsabilidades

• Process daily customer orders and distribution accounts.
• Provide daily operational reports that are accurate and timely.
• Run stock reports to check product availability.
• Generate all related paperwork for customer work orders and post inventory records.
• Perform accurate data entry for receiving orders, allocation, shipping and inventory management.
• Rate domestic transportation bills.
• Coordinate special shipping requests with Transportation and Operations, expediting orders as needed.
• Trace orders and notify customers of activity.
• Ensure accurate client and vendor billing.
• Maintain damage records and backorder logs.
• Handle returned merchandise and ensure proper credits.
• Input receipts, put-aways, moves, picks, shipments, and cycle counts.
• Provide documents and information to warehouse staff for receiving and shipping.
• Maintain relationships with customers by responding to inquiries and complaints politely.
• Report customer feedback to management, including dissatisfaction signs.
• Act as liaison between warehouse and customer regarding invoicing and credit.
• Contribute to relationships with vendors.
• Provide support with miscellaneous projects, filing and research.
• Maintain current and accurate DLSOP processing requirements for each account.
• Answer phone calls per Expeditors standards.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Meet KPI standards per company procedures.
• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
• Track and Trace Air Export Files and reporting.
• Use Tree View daily.
• Ensure arrival notices are communicated to overseas and customers.
• Interact with customers in arranging international shipments, meeting service standards.
• Understand department process flow and seek efficiency improvements.
• Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests.
• Escalate problems to Management when necessary.
• Attend trainingclasses and meet 52 hours training per year per employee.
• Promote compliance with all company policies and regulations.
