Job summary

Wilhelmsen Ships Service in Pasadena is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to ensure drivers deliver goods on time to correct addresses with proper documents and cost. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include updating ETAs with agents, scheduling drivers, monitoring dispatch efficiency, ensuring compliant and cost-effective transport, and maintaining documentation and vehicle standards. Weekend work and some holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication across levels and teams.

• Knowledge of global transportation methods and requirements.
• Familiar with Dangerous Goods regulations across transport modes.

Responsibilities

• Update ETAs by monitoring with agents.
• Schedule drivers.
• Monitor dispatch efficiency and driver utilization.
• Ensure cost-effective transport in line with demand.
• Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations.
• Manage document flow, reporting and tracking.
• Report and ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain delivery trucks to standards and regulations.
