Job summary

Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. in Coral Gables, FL, is seeking a Senior Director of SOX Governance to lead global internal controls and risk management.

This role directs the strategic direction of the SOX program, partners with Finance, IT and business leaders, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements across the organization. You will supervise the SOX governance team, drive control design and documentation, monitor metrics, and coordinate audits with internal and external auditors

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience, including public accounting and publicly traded company exposure.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience managing staff.
• Solid understanding of SOX testing methodologies, risk assessment, PCAOB and COSO framework.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the global strategic direction of the Global Internal Controls and SOX Governance function.
• Lead the organization’s adherence to internal policies, regulatory standards, and risk management.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely SOX compliance.
• Develop, refine, and document internal controls and control narratives.
• Monitor key SOX metrics and drive remediation and process improvements.
