Job summary

Hexion is seeking a Global Director, Process Safety Management in Columbus, OH to lead the global process safety function across its manufacturing network. The role drives program ownership, compliance, risk reduction, and governance through standardization and data-driven improvements.

You will oversee core PSM elements, collaborate with Engineering, Reliability, and EHS, and guide site partners worldwide.

Qualifications

• Ten to fifteen years of progressive EHS/process safety leadership experience in manufacturing or process industries.
• Deep working knowledge of Process Safety Management and OSHA PSM standards.
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive measurable results.
• Ability to influence across functions and geographies without direct reporting lines.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead global ownership and governance of core PSM elements across sites.
• Develop and manage global PSM budget and capital investments.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, EHS, and Reliability to drive risk reduction initiatives.
• Build leadership capability and promote an inclusive, safety-first culture.
• Establish standards, governance, and reporting for PSM maturity and performance.
