Job summary

SK Food Group is seeking an experienced EHS & Process Safety Manager based at our Columbus, OH facility with travel up to 20%. The role leads environmental, health, safety, and process safety programs to protect employees, contractors, visitors, and assets, while driving a strong safety culture across Groveport and Columbus operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate/Technical degree and at least five years of related EHS and PSM experience and/or training are required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree in EHS, Risk Management, or Process Safety preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Must have one or more of the following EHS professional certifications is required: CSP, GSP, PSM, RMP
• In-depth knowledge of Federal and State OSHA and EPA regulations and compliance procedures.
• Experience coordinating plant Health and Safety compliance and training programs.
• Experience coordinating multi-site Process Safety Management compliance and training programs.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and processes while partnering with corporate and facility management groups.
• Ability to travel to other Company locations, estimated at up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS and PSM programs across facilities to reduce risk and ensure compliance.
• Oversee PSM and RMP compliance activities including PHA, MI, MOC, PSI, OPS procedures, training, audits, investigations.
• Promote proactive safety culture with leadership and staff.
• Develop and improve EHS/PSM programs and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and JHAs.
• Deliver training on safety and compliance.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain EHS/PSM records and reporting systems.
• Coordinate audits and inspections; drive continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance to site leaders on PSM requirements.
• Travel up to 20%.
