Job summary

Hexcel is seeking a Regional EHS Manager to lead safety programs across multiple sites in the western United States. You will serve as the regional SME for Occupational Safety and Process Safety Management, driving compliance and performance improvements.

Responsibilities include developing EHS policies, conducting audits, and integrating safety into capital projects, with PSM training and performance tracking to deliver measurable gains. Travel 40–60% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, industrial, or mechanical engineering or related technical field (10+ years EHS/process safety experience).
• Professional certification preferred (P.E., P.Eng., CSP) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, occupational safety and process safety principles.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives while supporting operational objectives.
• Experience leading Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and root cause investigations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as regional SME for Occupational Safety and PSM, guiding leadership to ensure compliance.
• Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies, standards, and performance metrics.
• Lead safety risk assessments and mitigation across regional facilities.
• Audit compliance and manage EHS programs across sites and projects.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering to integrate EHS into capital projects and new processes.
