Job summary

Finastra is seeking a Director of Accounting to lead group consolidation and support month‑end close for a global, multi‑entity organization. You will own flux analysis, cash flow reporting, and statutory accounting under US GAAP and IFRS, while developing a high‑performing team and driving improvements across processes and controls.

You will collaborate with finance leaders, auditors, and business partners worldwide, transform reporting with modern tools like Workiva, and champion AI‑enabled

Qualifications

• Significant group consolidation experience in a large organization, multi‑entity, with intercompany eliminations.
• Proven leadership in financial reporting in a public company or equivalent with compressed external timelines.
• Strong command of US GAAP and IFRS, including consolidation, cash flow presentation, leases, debt, and financial instruments.
• Experience leading period‑end close and consolidation across multinational entities.
• Experience preparing consolidated cash flow statements and translating variance analysis into leadership insights.
• Familiarity with internal controls (SOX/ICFR) and remediation of control deficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end group consolidation, including intercompany eliminations and currency translation.
• Set standards for execution, documentation, and timely close cycles.
• Partner with Corporate Accounting on timelines, hand‑offs, and open items to keep close moving.
• Deliver accurate results and provide commentary on material variances for leadership.
• Own the consolidated cash flow statement and related analysis under US GAAP and IFRS.
