Job summary

Ecolab Deutschland GmbH is seeking a Global Director of Business Development for Microelectronics to lead a worldwide growth program in the MicroE segment. You will craft strategy, build capabilities, and establish repeatable processes to scale revenue and customer value across regions.

The role requires coordinating with sales, marketing, and technical teams, traveling as needed, and delivering a robust opportunity pipeline while driving long-term customer partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 10+ years of sales in New Construction environments with design, takeoffs, quoting and submittals.
• 5+ years of sales management experience.
• Valid US driver's license; clean MV
• Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.
• Engineering degree preferred for microelectronics focus.
• Experience in microelectronics design/construction and water treatment or specialty chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global business development strategy delivering sustainable long-term growth.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global team of Business Development Managers.
• Create a scalable operating model with processes, tools, metrics, and governance.
• Establish and maintain a multi-year growth pipeline with new markets, customers, and partnerships.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Technical Consulting, Innovation, Supply Chain, and regional leaders.
• Maintain safety and achieve Goal Zero incidents for the team.
• Cultivate relationships with end customers and engineers to support expansion.
