AbbVie is seeking a Director HVAC Mechanical within Strategic Investments Engineering to own strategic discipline leadership, technical governance and project delivery for HVAC and Building Management Systems. The role partners with global teams to enable safe, compliant, scalable manufacturing capability and asset performance.

You will drive standards deployment, front-end engineering support, risk management and lifecycle improvements across major capital programs, while mentoring teams,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
12+ to 15+ years of engineering, manufacturing, capital projects or regulated manufacturing experience.
Experience with HVAC, facility systems and GMP/regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

Establish, maintain and deploy engineering standards and governance for HVAC, BMS and facility interfaces.
Lead strategic capital investments, front-end engineering and risk-informed project delivery.
Provide technical leadership across programs and ensure safety, quality and compliance.
Coordinate cross-functional input and promote consistency across global regions.
