Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Facilities Manager responsible for overseeing maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment and processes, and for managing facility and utility systems. The role includes guiding site expansion projects with Project Engineering to ensure on-time completion within scope and budget while complying with regulatory standards.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering field and at least 10 years in maintenance, with 5 years in facilities or project management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical or related field.
• 10 years of maintenance experience with 5 years in facilities management and/or project management.
• 7 years of project management experience leading projects.
• 5 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages scheduling, implementation, and execution of maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Oversees management/improvement of facility and utility systems.
• Oversees site expansion projects with Project Engineering to ensure on-time, within scope and budget, and regulatory compliance.
• Plans budgets and schedules facility modifications with estimates on equipment, labor, materials and costs.
• Develops maintenance strategy including lifecycle management and energy considerations.
