Job summary

AbbVie in Waltham, MA (US) seeks a senior HEOR leader to oversee development and execution of HEOR programs across on-market and pipeline assets, aligning with product strategy and cross-functional teams.

You will shape global development strategies, engage with executives, HTAs and payors, and lead a high-performing team to deliver rigorous, compliant evidence that informs commercial and medical decisions.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in economics, econometrics, or health economics and outcomes research (HEOR).
Experience in leading complex products and/or clinical development and familiarity with pharma/regulatory landscapes.
Proven cross-functional leadership in a global matrix environment.
Strong strategic planning and execution skills across TA assets and product portfolios.
Ability to communicate with senior leadership and external stakeholders (HTAs/Payors/KOLs).
Experience managing resources and mentorship for direct reports.

Responsibilities

Oversee design and execution of multiple HEOR programs across on-market and pipeline assets.
Lead HEOR strategy in collaboration with cross-functional brand teams.
Define global development strategies and contribute to long-range plans.
Ensure high-quality HEOR outputs meet ethical, scientific, regulatory, and commercial standards.
Develop and execute life-cycle and labeling strategies in collaboration with scientific and commercial teams.
Engage senior leaders and external stakeholders to advocate for HEOR perspectives.
