Job summary
Ripple seeks a Director, Credit Risk in New York to own the global credit risk framework and lead structural lending initiatives across on- and off-chain products. You will partner with Sales, Product, Trading, Legal, Finance, and Treasury to balance growth with rigorous risk controls.
Ideal candidates have 10+ years in credit risk, strong analytics, and experience building teams in fintech or digital asset contexts. Equity, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits are offered.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in credit risk, lending, or structured credit.
- 3+ years building and leading teams.
- Experience with on-chain risk or digital assets.
- MBA/CFA/FRM strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own and scale Ripple's global credit risk framework and policies.
- Structure institutional credit solutions with Sales, Product, and Trading.
- Design risk parameters, monitoring, and collateral for on-chain lending.
- Oversee portfolio health, stress testing, and internal ratings.
- Collaborate with Legal/Compliance on credit documents and security packages.
- Lead and develop a high-performing credit team.
- Drive tooling and automation for credit monitoring and data quality.
