Job summary

Grant Thornton (US) seeks a Director of Corporate Accounting and Consolidations to lead the global close and consolidation processes. This newly created role oversees the integrity of consolidated financial statements and drives strategic consolidation improvements across acquisitions and transformation initiatives.

The role requires a CPA, 10+ years of accounting and consolidation experience, and strong leadership with multinational exposure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
CPA certification required.
10+ years of progressive accounting, reporting, and consolidation experience.
5+ years of leadership experience managing accounting or finance organizations.
Significant experience overseeing global consolidations.
Hands-on experience with OneStream or other leading EPM platform.

Responsibilities

Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual global consolidation processes.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial statements and schedules.
Lead accounting close governance and cross-border activities.
Oversee ownership structures, intercompany eliminations, and currency translation.
Support SOX compliance and external audit requests.
Collaborate with Financial Reporting, Corporate Accounting, and Financial Operations teams.
