Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Director of Corporate Accounting and Consolidations to join the team. This newly created role leads the global financial consolidation and close, ensuring the integrity of consolidated statements while driving consolidation process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in accounting/consolidation, CPA, and hands-on OneStream experience, with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration across multinational teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting, reporting, and consolidation experience.
• 5+ years leading accounting or finance organizations.
• Significant experience overseeing global consolidations.
• Experience with acquisitions, including ASC 805 and merger integrations preferred.
• Expert knowledge of ASC 810 Consolidation and ASC 830 Foreign Currency Matters.
• Hands-on experience with OneStream or other leading EPM platforms.
• Experience with multinational organizations and their consolidation processes.
• Public accounting background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual global consolidation processes.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial statements and schedules.
• Oversee ownership structures, legal entity hierarchies, adjustments, and intercompany eliminations in OneStream.
• Manage foreign currency translation and multi-entity reporting.
• Lead accounting close governance and coordinate activities across finance organizations.
• Establish close performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
