Job summary

3M in Livonia, MI seeks a Global Product Strategy & Management Director for Automotive Electronics Solutions. You will lead the development and execution of the global portfolio strategy, driving growth across E/E architectures, software-defined vehicles, connectivity, electrification, and emerging auto tech to deliver differentiated solutions.

This on-site role coordinates with Sales, R&D, Marketing, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to ensure launches, profitability, and lifecycle success.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
Ten (10) years' combined experience in automotive electronics, electrical architecture, vehicle systems, or related automotive tech.
Five (5) years leading global or regional teams and cross-functional influence.
Five (5) years developing and executing portfolio growth strategies and new product introductions.

Responsibilities

Leads the development and execution of the global portfolio strategy for Automotive Electronics Solutions.
Implements portfolio investment, innovation, and commercialization strategies for new product introductions and OEM engagement.
Determines strategic priorities via market intelligence, competitive analysis, and technology trend assessment.
Supports development of customer-centric technology roadmaps aligning OEM requirements with commercial objectives.
Leads strategic partnerships with global automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers and cross-functional collaboration for successful launches.
