Job summary

Velcro USA Inc. seeks a Direct Material Global Sourcing Leader to drive strategic direction for direct sourcing, supplier management, and multi-year category strategies across regions.

You will build and lead a three-person global Direct Materials team and partner with R&D, operations, finance, and quality to align sourcing with business goals. You will optimize total cost of ownership, manage risk, and champion sustainable procurement, ensuring regulatory and ethical standards while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field required.
• Minimum 10 years of global sourcing/procurement experience with leadership
• Experience negotiating and managing global supplier agreements and partnerships.
• Experience deploying AI for purchasing is preferred.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, forecasts, and business cases.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to optimize total cost of ownership and supply chain resilience.
• Build and lead a global Direct Materials sourcing team (3+ professionals).
• Develop multi-year, multi-category sourcing strategies and contracts.
• Drive supplier relationship management and supplier innovation across regions.
