Job summary

Knowles Precision Devices seeks a Global Procurement Director to lead the global direct material sourcing strategy for multiple facilities across North America, Mexico, and Asia. The role oversees a procurement organization focused on strategic sourcing and operational purchasing at sites worldwide.

You will drive supplier performance, negotiate complex contracts, and collaborate with Operations, Finance, R&D, and Product Management to align supply continuity with growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is required.
• MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for a global procurement organization.
• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for direct material categories.
• Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships and governance processes.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations including long-term supply agreements and pricing strategies.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply and manage supply continuity risks across global operations.
• Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics and conduct regular reviews.
• Drive cost savings, working capital optimization, and KPI reporting.
