Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Dimensional Global Process Lead to develop and govern dimensional manufacturing requirements and supplier quality standards across regions. You will lead a global network, drive capability, and ensure consistent execution of dimensional controls within supplier quality throughout the product lifecycle.

The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and the ability to influence across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of automotive experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or supplier quality.
• Demonstrated knowledge of dimensional manufacturing processes.
• Experience leading technical projects and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with influence without direct authority.
• Ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.
• Experience with data analytics, digital technologies, and MS Office/Google tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Global Process Lead and SME for dimensional manufacturing processes within Supplier Quality.
• Develop, deploy, and improve global dimensional manufacturing requirements, standards, auditing methods, and best practices.
• Lead a global network of Regional Leads and drive capability development and alignment.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and training to regional teams and suppliers.
• Drive global alignment of dimensional process controls and supplier quality expectations.
• Evaluate supplier capability and manufacturing readiness for launches and production.
• Review and approve supplier manufacturing, tooling, dimensional validation, and quality.
• Lead supplier assessments, audits, workshops, and technical reviews.
• Support containment, root cause analysis, corrective action, and sustainable quality solutions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, and Program Management teams.
