New Energy Nexus is seeking a Director of Development Strategy & Operations to lead the internal engine behind our global fundraising and business development efforts. Reporting to the CEO, the role translates frontline intelligence into a prioritized fundraising strategy and ensures the team is coordinated, resourced, and focused on high-value opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience across nonprofit fundraising/development, development strategy and/or development operations.
• Strong track record leading the development of complex philanthropic/grant proposals.
• Demonstrated ability turning frontline input into strategy and prioritization.
• Demonstrated people-management experience, including coaching and performance management.
• Experience operating in a global or matrix organisation with cross-country collaboration.
• Familiarity with CRM/data to support fundraising decisions and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising strategy and prioritization across the network based on proposals, funder conversations, and market signals.
• Coordinate multi-country and multi-program proposals with budgets and narratives aligned to organizational priorities.
• Build and manage a global platform-level development team with clear ownership and resources.
• Own the fundraising CRM and pipeline reporting, ensuring data quality and useful dashboards.
