Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking a derivative trading professional for its Investment Management Trading team in Boston. The role includes supporting the derivative trading desk, covering global Portfolio Management with a focus on derivatives, and ensuring accurate, timely client order execution.

Candidates should have 2+ years in buy-side or sell-side trading, strong market interest, and the ability to optimize trading costs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Four-year education degree or higher preferred.
Proficient with Excel, Python, Java, VBA, SQL; Tableau a plus.
Strong understanding of derivatives markets, equities and FX.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide support and assistance to the derivative trading team.
Cover global Portfolio Management with focus on derivatives.
Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely execution of client orders.
Engage with executing brokers to deepen relationships and resolve exceptions.
Collaborate with Portfolio Management, IT, Risk, Operations, Legal, Sales and Compliance.
