Job summary

State Street in Boston is seeking an AVP Front Office Credit Risk Analyst to join the Risk and FRM team. This role focuses on first line credit risk management across multiple business units, requiring strong counterparty credit analysis and trading product knowledge.

The ideal candidate has capital markets exposure with FX and OTC derivatives, 3–5 years in credit risk, and will work primarily in the office in Boston four days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics or business; advanced degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in counterparty credit risk preferred.
• Formal credit training strongly preferred.
• Professional designation (CFA, FRM) preferred but not required.
• Strong risk management and control focus.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
