New Era Cap, LLC. is seeking a Global Demand Planner to support S&OP with data analysis, forecasting, and inventory planning in a 100% on-site Buffalo, NY role.

You will partner with sales, supply chain, and finance to build tools, evaluate forecasts, and drive improvements across key accounts, GCP, and e-commerce demand plans. The role emphasizes analytical rigor, proficiency in Excel/Tableau/Power BI, and experience with ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain or related field preferred; relevant job experience in lieu of degree will be considered
• Three (3)-Five (5) years of experience in an analytical position
• Working knowledge of an MRP and ERP system (SAP, Blue Cherry, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, etc.)
• Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required; advanced knowledge of Excel and Power Point a plus
• Experience with Tableau or similar business intelligence or analytics software (Power BI) a plus
• APICS certification in CPIM or CSCP a plus

Aufgaben

• Analyze sales data and trends to develop a statistical forecast for the Demand Plan review
• Evaluate forecast to actuals and develops the talking points with the Demand Team
• Evaluate POS data and customer data to determine the impact to New Era’s plans
• Evaluate the Sales and Operations Planning forecast to the budget in terms of units and revenue, cost of goods, open to buy dollars and inventory metrics
• Develop and analyze New Era’s Ecom S&OP Demand Plan, and lead an Ecom Demand Session on a bi-monthly basis
• Develop and analyze New Era’s Key Account Demand Plan while working cross functionally with New Era’s Key Account Sales Representatives, and lead monthly Demand Sessions with key stakeholders
• Evaluate forecast to actuals monthly to identify gaps in the Demand Plan
• Partner with Raw Materials Planners to improve material planning and supply alignment
• Develop and analyze New Era’s Global Custom Product (GCP) Demand Plan, and lead a GCP Demand Session on a quarterly basis
• Develop and analyze New Era’s Custom Demand Plan, and lead a Custom Demand Session on a quarterly basis
• Create the S&OP minutes, communicating key conclusions to stakeholders and perform follow up of actions
• Develop and track New Era’s inventory plan, including reporting out information for the Sales and Operations Planning process
• Accumulate purchasing data including purchase receipts, the open POs and purchase requisitions. Work with finance and communicates future spend forecasts
• Develop and assist with Global Production/Capacity Plans for all headwear and apparel vendors
• Develop and track the overall Distribution plan, including reporting out information for the Sales and Operations Planning process
• Develop advanced analytical tools and reporting to support the entire S&OP process
• Identify opportunity areas including slow moving and obsolete materials, and develop and implement action plans for inventory optimization
• Help facilitate cross-functional communication between the Demand Teams and Supply Chain in support of major S&OP initiatives, new product launches, line extensions, promotions, discontinuations, productivity projects, decision-making modeling of process flow, inventory levels, cost of manufacturing, distribution, transportation, etc
• Keeps all sensitive matters confidential
