Job summary

BMW Manufacturing Company in Spartanburg, SC seeks a dedicated intern to support onsite supplier logistics production and improve lineside delivery performance. You will handle KPI reporting, 8D/FMEA tasks, and development of i-Learn trainings while maintaining data visualizations in Power BI and SAP data processing.

The role requires a degree-related student, strong communication, and the ability to work full-time on-site from March 8, 2027 to September 17, 2027.

Qualifications

Degree or student status in Industrial Engineering, SCM, CS or related field.
Experience with Power BI, SQL, Data Lake is a bonus.
Excel proficiency (VLookup, Macros preferred).
Detail-oriented and organized with good communication skills.
Must be enrolled at a university outside of the United States.
Minimum GPA 3.0 on US scale.
Must have completed a BMW internship of at least 3 months.
Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
Provide paperwork in English (CV/Resume, Last University Performance Record).

Responsibilities

Support onsite supplier logistics production to ensure lineside delivery performance.
Contribute to KPI reporting and status updates using SAP, SQL, and Power BI.
Work on 8D and FMEA tasks to derive concrete solutions.
Develop and track i-Learn training classes and completion status.
Support supplier communication and act as a key user for the electronic team board.
Audit rack cleanliness weekly and document non-conformances for supplier charges.
Assist with Zero Defect supply chain projects and standardize daily LQS activities.
