Job summary

BMW Manufacturing Company is offering a Domestic Delivery Assurance Intern position focused on supporting onsite supplier logistics and production, improving delivery performance through data-driven methods.

The role emphasizes KPI reporting (8D/FMEA), data analysis with SAP/SQL/Power BI, and development of training materials while maintaining strong communication with suppliers and internal teams. The term runs January 11–May 14, 2027, on-site in Spartanburg, SC.

Qualifications

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
• Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college in the United States
• Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application
• Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week)
• Transfer students must have a GPA from current university
• Must attach a copy of unofficial transcript
• Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term
• Work term dates are January 11th - May 14th, 2027

Responsibilities

• Support onsite supplier logistics production to assure delivery performance
• Contribute to KPI reporting, 8D and FMEA
• Develop i-Learn classes and track training completion
• Report KPI using SAP, SQL, Power BI; run weekly/daily reports
• Assist supplier communication and development
• Maintain electronic team board as key user
• Audit rack cleanliness and document non-conformances
• Support Zero Defect supply chain projects
• Standardize daily LQS activities and issue/LOP management
